Kenneth W. Theisen, P.E.
The firm's president and principal engineer. Mr. Theisen holds a B. S.C.E which he obtained from Polytechnic Institute of N.Y. in 1981. Mr. Theisen is responsible for operations, project management and final project review.
During his career Mr. Theisen has been involved in projects ranging from the structural design of nuclear power plant components, to the structural design of buildings such as hotels, churches, limited service motels, educational facilities, medical facilities, and large single family and multi-family dwellings. Such projects included the design of peripheral structures such as concrete, masonry and segmental unit retaining walls.
Other responsibilities have included on site resolution of construction problems and the investigation of noncatastrophic structural failures.
Mr. Theisen is a registered engineer in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Mississippi, and Virginia. Mr. Theisen is a member of the ASCE, NCPE, ACI, allied member of NC AIA, and associated member -of NCHBA.
